It all began with the vision of ordained independent minister Gloria S. Moorehead (1934-2019). She founded Angels Landing Spiritual Center in 2003, creating a place for people to experience God’s love and discover who they really are. Over the years, the group grew in its native Toledo, OH. After Gloria passed, the board of directors gathered to explore how the vision to create a space for spiritual exploration was changing. They opened to a broader online community in 2020 with the intention for others to come in as community leaders and participants, expanding the scope of spiritual exploration, inclusive community, and education.

The members, board and name of Angels Landing transformed, and the core message resounded:  that many spiritual and religious paths have teachings of great value, that each path is a unique expression of the individual, and that spiritual relationship is something we discover within us and through our experiences. These today remain the core beliefs of what is now Sacred Awakenings. We have an accessible, safe, ad-free, totally community driven online platform through Mighty Networks where we gather, study, practice and share. We hope you join us on the journey!
